Edit a transaction rule

You can change a transaction rule you have set up if you want to change the way OnBalance categorizes some of your deposits or expenses.

Note: When you change a transaction rule, the change will apply to transactions you enter after changing the rule. The category will not change for transactions that you entered before you changed the transaction rule.

  1. Open the Transaction Rules screen.
  2. Click the transaction rule you want to change.
  3. Change the information.
  4. Click Save.

The availability of some or all of these features depends on your version of OnBalance.
