INSS withholding

INSS is an abbreviation for Social Security National Institute. In OnBalance, INSS refers to the contribution to this institute. There are several objects related with this organization, especially with regard to the management of resources for citizens retirement. This withholding is valid only when your company has a Tax Schema classified as National Simple or Presumed Profit.

To define this rate for your company, follow these steps.

  1. Open My Company.
  2. Click the Standard Tax Definition tab.
  3. Change the information in the INSS Retention field.
  4. Click Save.

Notes

  • These withholdings do not exist if your company is classified in the Tax Schema of MEI.
